Why this blog
The question I keep getting asked, is why start a blog about my parents. The answer is very simple, as my mother often reminds me, "without me you wouldn't be here". It is for this reason that I begin the compiling of all my ancestors in blogs, with my parents, Eugene Arthur Knowles Jr. and Dee Ann Hancock. Hopefully this will be the start of family and friends coming together to study those who came before.
